Donald Trump continues to desperately try to create a distraction from some kind of scandalous bombshell story he seems to think is coming tonight or tomorrow. As we keep a look out for that story, it’s worth pointing out that Trump’s attempt at creating a distraction is now in danger of creating World War III, as he continues to provoke allies and madmen. His latest stupid tweet has also caused Twitter to unload on him.

Here’s what Trump posted across two tweets late on Monday night: “North Korea has just launched another missile. Does this guy have anything better to do with his life? Hard to believe that South Korea and Japan will put up with this much longer. Perhaps China will put a heavy move on North Korea and end this nonsense once and for all!” (link). No one seems to have any idea what he’s getting at, but Twitter users are eating him alive over it in both mocking and condemning fashion.

Filmmaker Adam Best retorted with “Do you have anything better to do than egging on WW3 on Twitter? Celebrating USA’s B-Day? Or working in the situation room?” Mobile app maker Nathan Bernard opined “You do not care about America’s safety.” Video host Jules Suzdaltsev hit the nail on the head, tweeting “You TWEETING ‘Does this guy have anything better to do with his life?’ is the absolute height of irony!”

Neuroscientist Bryan William Jones also laid into Trump: “If you’ve been to S. Korea or paid attention to a security briefing on the DMZ or the history of Korea, you’d know the risks. You’d know that the DMZ is the most heavily defended border in the world and there are literally thousands of artillery positions.” And actor Daniel Danger Marin posted an unfinished thought that sums up what we’re all thinking: “When the President tweets as a response to a missile launch from an adversary…”
