Donald Trump goes on unhinged tirade after Republicans tell him to stop tweeting toxic garbage

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. Donald Trump’s Twitter attacks on Morning Joe co-host Mika Brzezinski were so vicious and unbecoming, even by his low standards, that leaders of both parties condemned him for it and called on him to stop tweeting altogether for the good of the nation. But that hasn’t stopped Trump from tweeting even more toxic garbage. And now that his own party is trying to reel him in, he’s going on yet another unhinged and disturbing tirade.

Trump kicked off Saturday by launching into his third straight morning of Twitter attacks on Morning Joe, while also hurling garbage at CNN, Greta Van Susteren, NBC News, and others. At some point during the day, someone within his own party must have privately made yet another attempt at getting him to knock it off, because he then lashed out at the idea.

Starting at around 6pm eastern time, when a rational person would be thinking about dinner, Donald Trump instead decided to tee off on how his demented tweeting somehow caused him to ‘win’ the election: “The FAKE & FRAUDULENT NEWS MEDIA is working hard to convince Republicans and others I should not use social media – but remember, I won the 2016 election with interviews, speeches and social media. I had to beat #FakeNews, and did. We will continue to WIN!” (link). After a pause, during which numerous respondents reminded him that he actually lost the election by three million votes, he added the even more whacked out “I am thinking about changing the name #FakeNews CNN to #FraudNewsCNN!”

So there you have it. Trump sees nothing wrong with his tweets, even though they could be probably be used as evidence to get him declared mentally incapacitated. Instead he’s blaming the media for convincing the Republican Party to try to convince him to stop tweeting garbage. Impeachment or resignation can’t come fast enough.
