Donald Trump Jr’s meeting with Russia connected to Trump Tower’s Russian email server

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The fascinating thing about Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with the Kremlin is that it allows all kinds of suspicious happenings during the course of the campaign to be revisited in a more knowledgeable fashion. All along, one of the most mysterious storylines has been the “email server” inside Trump Tower that communicated almost solely with Russian banks, and was probably transmitting a lot more than email. And now Junior’s meeting lines things up with the server in striking fashion.

One June 9th of 2016, Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, and Paul Manafort all met with a Kremlin representative at Trump Tower. The server at Trump Tower was already in operation at the time, based on its data footprint. But just eleven days after the meeting, Donald Trump abruptly fired campaign manager Corey Lewandowski (without consulting anyone on his staff first) and inserted Manafort – who was already campaign chair – into the campaign manager role. Four days after that, there was a sudden and sharp increase in data traffic between Trump Tower and the Russian banks. This data spike is relevant to both Manafort and Kushner.

To be clear, there were a number of things going on concurrently at that time. For instance the Daily Kos writer who helped establish the server timeline (link) initially believed the June spike might have been in relation to Brexit. But I’ll point to something else instead, and it may relate directly to Jared Kushner.

Political pundit Tea Pain previously did a deep dive into the Trump Tower server data (link) and concluded that it was receiving voter registration data from Russia, not email – and that Jared Kushner was likely behind the operation. So shortly after Manafort and Kushner met with the Kremlin, Manafort suddenly became campaign manager and Kushner’s (alleged) server suddenly exploded with data transfer.
