Retiring CIA Director goes off on “despicable” Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Longtime CIA Director John Brennan retired yesterday, leaving him free to voice any opinion he wants — and it’s taken him virtually no time to begin laying into Donald Trump, the man who has been waging war against the CIA and who now illegitimately occupies the White House thanks to a Russian coup. Trump spoke at the CIA headquarters today, and that prompted Brennan to unload on him with pointed criticism.

After Trump gave a divisive political speech today while standing in front of the CIA’s wall of fallen heroes, retiring CIA Director John Brennan put out a statement to the media saying that he’s “deeply saddened and angered at Donald Trump’s despicable display of self-aggrandizement in front of CIA’s Memorial Wall of Agency heroes.” He added, “Trump should be ashamed of himself.”

This comes after Trump accused Brennan of having leaked the ‘Russian pee pee’ report, and CIA agents clandestinely confirmed that Russia really does have blackmail tapes on him.
