Reporter tells off Sarah Huckabee Sanders to her face over her nonstop lies and attacks on the media
Donald Trump has moved on from sending Sean Spicer to the podium to berate the media and lie on his behalf, and now he’s sending Sarah Huckabee Sanders to the podium to to the same. The resulting press conferences have become little more than propaganda-fests for the White House, and today, after Sanders went on yet another hyperbolic anti-media tirade, one of the reporters in the room told her off for it to her face.
Huckabee Sanders launched into yet another unhinged lying rant about how her White House is held to a standard of factual perfection, but “news outlets get to go on day after day and cite unnamed sources, use stories without sources.” At this point Brian Karem, one of the reporters in the room cut her off and then proceeded to tell her off.
The reporter launched into his own tirade: “Come on, you’re inflaming everybody right here and right now with those words. This administration has done that as well. Why in the name of heavens? Any one of us are replaceable, and any one of us, if we don’t get it right, the audience has the opportunity to turn the channel or not read us. But you have been elected to serve for four years at least, there’s no option other than that. We’re here to ask you questions, you’re here to provide the answers. And what you just did is inflammatory to people all over the country.” Watch the exchange in the video below (link):

Since she’s taken over the bulk of the White House press briefings, Sarah Huckabee Sanders has gradually become as defensive and unhinged as Sean Spicer before her. It suggests that no one is capable of being a mouthpiece for Donald Trump’s lies and anti-media tirades without it taking a toll on their own psyche.
