Report: member of Donald Trump’s inner circle says Trump is going to prison

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

In addition to whatever crimes he may have committed in the name of colluding with Russia to rig the election, Donald Trump has also now committed obstruction of justice and witness tampering in broad daylight – and this comes even as his shady finances are being picked apart by investigators. Now comes inside word that even one of Trump’s own close associates believes Trump will end up in prison when it’s all said and done.

That’s the word according to intel community insider John Schindler, who says that according to his inside sourcing, “Trusted member of Trump’s inner circle has told family & friends that he knows both he & POTUS are going to prison” (link). No hints are provided about the identity of the Trump associate in question. In what may be a coincidence, the Washington Post concurrently revealed that former Trump adviser Carter Page has met with federal investigators several times to discuss the Trump-Russia scandal. In addition, Michael Flynn and Paul Manafort are under legal fire, while Jared Kushner and Jeff Sessions among others are also lawyering up in the scandal. But Trump himself going to prison is a new twist in the tale.

The most likely path for Donald Trump to end up in prison remains that he’s impeached and removed by Congress, and once he’s out of office, he can be prosecuted in the judicial system for any and all crimes he’s committed. Even if Trump tried to pardon himself on his way out, or if his replacement pardoned him, that would only apply to federal crimes; the president cannot pardon anyone for state level crimes.

Even if the Republican majority declines to impeach Donald Trump, if the Democrats take the majority in the midterm elections, they’ll begin the impeachment process immediately. If you’re a regular reader, feel free to support Palmer Report
