James Comey’s memos on Donald Trump’s Russia scandal implicate Reince Priebus in a crime

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Is this why White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus unexpectedly came home early from Donald Trump’s overseas trip over the weekend? It turns out recently fired FBI Director James Comey wasn’t just keeping memos of Trump’s attempts at obstructing justice in the FBI’s investigation. Comey’s memos also implicate Priebus in a crime.

Back in February, the story surfaced of Reince Priebus supposedly having asked Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe – who is now the acting FBI Director – to put put false information asserting that the Russia scandal was overblown. That story has since faded, but it’s now about to come back in the spotlight, according to The Daily Beast (link). It turns out Comey kept memos of Priebus’ attempt at obstructing justice.

Palmer Report previously brought you the story of Donald Trump sending Reince Priebus home early from his overseas trip, and then also sending Steve Bannon home early (link). If Priebus was sent home to deal with this Comey memo that seems likely to imminently surface and implicate him, then it’s not clear how Bannon fits into the obstruction story, or if he may have been sent home for a different reason.

But it is clear that Donald Trump’s Russia scandal is closing in on a growing number of his former campaign advisers and current White House advisers, particularly with regard to the attempted obstruction and coverup. Follow Palmer Report on Facebook and Twitter.
