President Biden has something big coming next week
Although many pundits have lamented Florida as a lost cause for Democrats, a large reason for Florida being a tough climb is that Democrats tend to focus on it as a last minute priority, particularly when it comes to Latin/Hispanic outreach.
Fortunately, that isn’t quite the case this year, with President Biden preparing a speech denouncing the Republican abortion ban in Florida next week. The president’s visit will coincide with one of the most draconian abortion bans in the country going into effect – one that if successful, will mean the end of reproductive freedom across the southeastern region of the United States.
Despite Donald Trump pretending he’s against an abortion ban (something that he’ll absolutely be “forced” by the GOP to sign in a subsequent Trump term), it’s clear that these terrible laws are associated with only one political party in America – and that Republicans will continue to push ones that are disastrous to women in every state where they assume control of the government.
It must be clear to voters who is responsible for making all of these laws possible: the same guy who bragged about overturning Roe v. Wade on tape. Let’s keep him and Republicans out of office on Nov 5.
