As Donald Trump heads to Mar-a-lago for Thanksgiving, Russian oligarch arrives in West Palm Beach

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump is headed to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach for Thanksgiving, which is not a surprise considering what a large percentage of his presidency he’s wasted at his golf resorts. However, this time around it appears Trump might be on a working vacation thanks to the arrival in Palm Beach of a representative from the government he actually works for, that being the Kremlin.

In a story that’s become all too familiar, a Kremlin oligarch has once again arrived in the same U.S. city at nearly the same time as Donald Trump. This time it’s Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich, who just parked his yacht off the Palm Beach coast and plans to stay there for the entire time that Trump is in town, according to local newspaper the Palm Beach Post (link). Although the mainstream media has largely ignored it, Russian oligarchs have a consistent history of showing up in whatever town Trump happens to be visiting – a trend that dates back to the campaign.

Another Russian oligarch, Dmitry Rybolovlev, flew into the same towns at the same time as Donald Trump during the campaign and after the election. Rybolovlev insists it was all a coincidence and that he never actually met with Trump during these instances. However, Rybolovlev did buy a Palm Beach mansion from Trump for twice what it was worth, and then bulldozed it, raising eyebrows across the board.

Donald Trump and Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich are arriving in Palm Beach just as the Trump-Russia scandal is spiraling out of control for both Trump and the Kremlin. Donald Trump is reportedly looking for a new funding source to pay his legal bills in the Trump-Russia scandal, now that the Republican National Committee is no longer willing to funnel Kremlin money to Trump’s attorneys. Is this why Trump and Abramovich are about to be in town together?
