Nikki Haley goes berserk
Last week Donald Trump’s UN Ambassador Nikki Haley got herself in big trouble with Trump by saying the right thing. She was asked if she believed the women who have accused Trump of sexual assault, and she said she believes they have a right to be heard. Trump was reportedly furious, and Haley’s job was suddenly on the line. Now, either because she’s cracking under the pressure, or because she’s trying to win Trump over by acting like a maniac, Haley is acting in a fashion that’s nothing short of berserk.
Trump recently announced that he’s moving the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. This is a clear attempt on his part at triggering a war in the Middle East, which he hopes will serve as a distraction from his mounting scandals. The move has met sharp rebuke worldwide. This includes America’s biggest allies, who have introduced a United Nations resolution condemning the United States for the ridiculous move. This has sent Haley off the deep end.
Yesterday, Haley tweeted “What we witnessed here today in the Security Council is an insult. It won’t be forgotten. It’s one more example of the UN doing more harm than good in addressing the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.” Really? She’s an ambassador. Her job is to make peace, not threats, and her job is certainly not to publicly attack U.S. allies. But today she went and made it even worse.
Today Nikki Haley tweeted “At the UN we’re always asked to do more & give more. So, when we make a decision, at the will of the American ppl, abt where to locate OUR embassy, we don’t expect those we’ve helped to target us. On Thurs there’ll be a vote criticizing our choice. The US will be taking names.” So now she’s going completely berserk, talking about key U.S. allies as if they were rogue enemies. Haley is acting completely unhinged. Is she just putting on a show for Trump, or has she truly snapped under the pressure? Either way, she’s an immediate danger to the safety of the United States – and she must resign.
