Nancy Pelosi takes a blowtorch to Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The fallout from the tweet heard round the world continues. Donald Trump decided this morning that he wants his presidency to die on the sexual assault hill instead of on the Russian treason hill, when he began sexually harassing Senator Kirsten Gillibrand on Twitter for all to see. In so doing, he handed the Democrats a blowtorch which they can now use to force him out of office before his treason is fully proven. Nancy Pelosi was all too happy to pick up that blowtorch.

Trump tweeted this garbage about Gillibrand this morning: “Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office “begging” for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump. Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!” We all know precisely what he meant.

This prompted Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic leader in the House of Representatives, to fire back. She tweeted “Donald Trump’s attack on Sen. Gillibrand was shameful & disgusting. I would say that, as with many things the President says, it is likely a projection of his own behavior.” In other words, Pelosi said what we’re all thinking.

Nancy Pelosi is on her way to becoming Speaker of the House if the Democrats can win a majority in the House in the 2018 midterms. Based on the manner in which Donald Trump is now actively trying accelerate his own demise out of pure spite, that goal is rapidly becoming more of a reality for the Democrats.
