Donald Trump has been losing White House council members left and right since he went full racist in the wake of the Charlottesville white supremacist terrorist attack. Dozens of people have resigned from his manufacturing council, arts council, and other advisory councils. Now that Trump is taking a racist position on DACA, one of his remaining council members is lashing out at him for being a liar.

Javier Palomarez is the president of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He’s also a member of Donald Trump’s White House diversity council. After Trump’s decision to end DACA protection for immigrants leaked out last night, Palomarez appeared on CNN today to discuss the matter. He vowed to continue to try to get Trump to change his mind until the “bloody end,” as Trump has yet to publicly acknowledge his own position on the issue. He then went on to state that ending DACA would be a “deplorable” move on Trump’s part, borrowing a word out of Hillary Clinton’s playbook. But there was more.

When CNN asked Palomarez what Donald Trump would be showing if he follows through and gets rid of DACA, Palomarez didn’t mince words: “If he gets rid of DACA, he’s showing that he’s a liar.” He then went on to explain how Trump claimed during the campaign that he would do right by those immigrants under the protection of DACA.

Again, this is a current member of a White House advisory council calling Donald Trump a “liar” on live national television. Even as dozens of prominent public figures have resigned from Trump’s councils in protest of his racism, some have remained, ostensibly so they could use the weight of their position to strike back at him as needed. That’s precisely what Javier Palomarez has done today. But it sounds like his resignation is forthcoming as well.
