Donald Trump’s White House makes hilarious typo suggesting it’s preoccupied with impeachment

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. When the White House makes a typo in an official press release, it raises the question of whether the administration is putting its vast resources and manpower to proper use. There are also times when such typos are unintentionally funny. And then there are times where a White House typo is not only funny, but also potentially revealing when it comes to what’s really on the mind of the staffers at that moment.

Donald Trump’s White House put out a press release announcing that one of the goals of his current overseas trip is to “promote the possibility of lasting peach” in the Middle East. That’s right, it said lasting peach instead of lasting peace (link). But while that’s funny enough on its own, it may tell us something.

Lasting peace… Lasting peach… peach… impeach… Was this a fully random mis-stroke on a keyboard, or is Donald Trump’s White House staff so preoccupied with fear about the current growing talk of impeachment that it’s subconsciously seeping its way into their work?

You’ll have to decide that one for yourself. But even if this isn’t an accidental subconscious reference to impeachment on the part of Donald Trump’s White House, at least we got “lasting peach” out of it.
