June 4th: Donald Trump’s Day From Hell

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump has struggled to find good days since he took office, with his approval rating dying, his staff hemorrhaging, and his scandals exploding. But lately things have been literally getting worse for him by the day. Today has been no exception. Here’s our June 4th look at Donald Trump’s Day From Hell.

Trump began his day by dishonestly attacking the Mayor of London in response to the terrorist attack in London, which set up the worst possible optics, with even his apologists unsure of how to defend him. Then a pool report surfaced that Trump had immediately hit the golf course after sending the tweet – which we covered here.

In fact Trump’s Twitter antics after the London attack bubbled over to the point that one CNN reporter asserted that he’ll never be presidential, while another CNN reporter skipped any pretense and labeled Trump a “piece of shit” – as we covered here.

As the day went on, people on Twitter unearthed an old Donald Trump tweet about President Obama golfing, and used it to lampoon Trump’s current failure – which we documented here.

Then came word that former FBI Director James Comey and current NSA Director Mike Rogers are both set to drop bombshells on Trump’s head during separate hearings this week – we’ve got the lowdown here.

Then finally, to add insult to injury, Hillary Clinton stepped up and handled the U.S. leadership role in the wake of the London attack while Trump was golfing – as we covered here. Follow Palmer Report on Facebook and Twitter. If you’re a regular reader, feel free to support Palmer Report
