Ghislaine Maxwell just took a blow
Even as Ghislaine Maxwell rots in jail while awaiting trial on underage sex trafficking charges in relation to Jeffrey Epstein, a parallel legal battle has been playing out involving secret documents and testimony from a long-settled lawsuit involving one of their victims.
Yesterday the judge in the case ruled that Maxwell’s testimony from that case, along with her communications with Epstein, must be released. No one knows the precise details contained in this secret evidence. But whatever it is, Maxwell has been trying to keep it from being released. Yesterday, the judge ordered that the evidence be released by tomorrow.
This prompted Ghislaine Maxwell to file a last minute appeal – but the judge just shot it down. This means that tomorrow, the evidence in the Maxwell-Epstein suit will finally be released. We’re guessing it’ll be ugly for a number of high profile people.
