Vicious feud erupts between Melania Trump and Ivana Trump
Donald Trump’s lifelong history of unfaithful and failed marriages has now officially turned into a White House scandal, at a time when Trump’s imploding administration has come to be defined almost entirely by failure and scandal. Trump’s current wife Melania Trump and his first wife Ivana Trump are now embroiled in a bitter feud that’s spilled over into the public eye, in a new embarrassment for America’s trashiest family.
The absurdity started when Ivana Trump, who has been divorced from Donald Trump for decades, declared that she’s the real First Lady and that Melania is jealous of her. Almost unbelievably, she said it in those exact words while explaining why she doesn’t call Donald at the White House: “I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that, because I’m basically first Trump wife. OK? I’m first lady” (link). This has prompted Melania to fire back in equally not-nice fashion.
Melania Trump’s spokesperson has released the following statement: “Mrs. Trump has made the White House a home for Barron and The President. She loves living in Washington, DC and is honored by her role as First Lady of the United States. She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books. There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex. Unfortunately only attention seeking and self-serving noise.” (link). It gets even more awkward.
Ivana Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump is currently a senior adviser in the White House, where Donald and Melania Trump both live. It’s unclear who is loyal to whom – that is, if anyone in the Trump clan understands the concept of loyalty to begin with. In any case, thanks to Donald Trump being the trashiest person in the United States, the nation is now facing even further embarrassment from his criminally illegitimate pseudo-presidency and the cartoon characters around him.
