Donald Trump goes on demented racist rant in Oval Office
Anyone who has ever listened to anything Donald Trump has ever said is well aware that he’s the most blatant racist of his generation. His base loves him for his racism. His passive supporters pretend they don’t hear his racism. The majority of Americans despise him for his racism. Trump keeps finding new ways to sink to new racist lows. But this latest reported incident might take the cake when it comes to just how much of a xenophobic white supremacist Trump truly is.
While discussing immigration, Trump went on a demented racist rant in the Oval Office which included everything from claiming that Haitians “have AIDS” to insisting that Nigerians all live in “huts,” according to a stunning New York Times report (link). Trump was so out of control with his seething racism that he and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson ended up in a shouting match about it. White House Chief of Staff John Kelly intervened by kicking most of the staffers out of the meeting, presumably so they couldn’t hear any more of Trump’s racist ranting. However, Trump was being so obnoxious about it that they could still hear him from outside the room.
This helps confirm once and for all that Donald Trump is, in every sense of the phrase, a white supremacist. We already knew this when he kicked off his campaign by referring to Mexican immigrants as rapists and drug dealers. We saw further confirmation when he accused Muslims of all being terrorists. We’ve since seem him defend neo-Nazis after they murdered a woman on American soil.
Donald Trump and his supporters seem to think that Haitians, Nigerians, Muslims, and Mexicans don’t belong in the United States. On the other hand, real Americans think Trump and his scummy supporters don’t belong in the United States.
