Donald Trump’s staffers complain that he’s become “agitated” and “exhausted”

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

If you’ve observed of late that Donald Trump seems to be falling to pieces under the rigors of a job he doesn’t want and the stress of exploding scandals he can’t handle, it turns out you’re not merely imagining it. Trump’s own White House staffers are now complaining to the media about his physical and psychological condition – and the staffers aren’t mincing any words.

That’s the official word tonight from CNN, which reported on-air that according to his own staffers, Donald Trump has become “agitated” and “exhausted” in their own words:

This confirmation comes at a time when Trump seems to be just barely going through the motions, spending very little time functioning as president, and instead spending most of his time either vacationing at one of his own resorts or tweeting angry garbage out of frustration. Trump hasn’t shown any real interest in the job since he was sworn in, but his unraveling now seems to be an accelerating condition.

For instance one of Donald Trump’s advisers told the media this week that Trump hates being president and is “strained by the demanding hours of the job” and that he wants to resign, but is afraid of how he would end up looking in historical context (link). This all comes even as his Russia scandal continues accelerate and explode, with Trump unable to handle the idea of being under criminal investigation.

Donald Trump publicly admitted on Twitter that he’s being investigated for obstruction, then hired a TV lawyer to go out and insist he isn’t being investigated. Trump’s self incriminating tweets seem to point to the idea that he’s either consciously or subconsciously trying to get himself forced out of office so he doesn’t have to resign. No wonder his staff is complaining about him. If you’re a regular reader, feel free to support Palmer Report
