Donald Trump makes disgusting new hire

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $2097 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer

While it’s safe to assume that anytime Donald Trump opens his mouth a lie is likely to soon follow, we have learned that there are a few phrases he’ll preemptively utter that specifically ensure a falsehood is coming. “Believe me,” “people are saying,” and “I am the most” are three such introductions to imminent “alternative facts.” Going back to the campaign leading up to the 2016 election there are at least twenty-one documented occurrences of Trump stating he is more respectful toward women than any other man alive.

Most people have known for quite some time not to take Trump at his word. Following the firing of disgraced White House aide Rob Porter, who was dismissed after the domestic abuse allegations made by two previous wives came to light, there was talk that Trump was doing everything to bring him back to work for him. It’s now confirmed that former Fox News co-president Bill Shine, who was fired for his handling of sexual assault allegations at Fox News, and was accused of having brought women to Bill O’Reilly, has been hired as Trump’s new White House Communications Director.

For someone who supposedly respects women more than anyone, Trump certainly has an odd way of expressing it. The ongoing revelations that Trump cheated on his current wife, Melania, with multiple women, including a porn star and a Playboy bunny just months after she gave birth to his fifth (and her first) child, it appears to be the behavior that would invalidate his proclamation of respect. The fact that far more than a dozen women have publicly accused Trump of sexual assault certainly goes against his claims.

While it is becoming clear that Trump is experiencing great difficulty finding lawyers who want to be forever known as the attorney that failed to save him from Special Counsel Robert Mueller, it is also evident that properly staffing a full White House is beyond Trump’s abilities. With so much turnover it has become clear that nobody without previous baggage is even willing to think about taking a job there. As a self-proclaimed individual who respects women more than anyone else, any discussion of bringing Porter back, employing Shine, or making excuses for his infidelity completely invalidates his claim.
