Senator Dianne Feinstein goes off on Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Senator Dianne Feinstein tends to choose her words carefully, but she’s also proven over the years that she’s not to be messed with. On Tuesday morning, Donald Trump tweeted the ridiculous claim that Senator Kirsten Gillibrand had once offered him sexual favors in exchange for political favors. This elicited immediate and widespread backlash against him. It also prompted Feinstein to go off on Trump without holding back even slightly.

Trump tweeted “Lightweight Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, a total flunky for Chuck Schumer and someone who would come to my office “begging” for campaign contributions not so long ago (and would do anything for them), is now in the ring fighting against Trump. Very disloyal to Bill & Crooked-USED!”

In response, Senator Dianne Feinstein tweeted “Another disgusting tweet from Thin-Skinned Donald Trump. This man has a problem, plain and simple. He lashes out at women and doesn’t seem to be able to control his impulses. For the good of the nation, he should delete his account.”

Other congressional leaders are also firing back at Donald Trump in response to his tweet. Congressman Elijah Cummings called on Trump to delete his tweet and apologize. Congressman Ted Lieu called on Trump to resign. Congresswoman Jackie Speier labeled Trump “grotesque” and called for him to be immediately removed from Office via the 25th Amendment.
