Sean Hannity is totally cracking up

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Now that Donald Trump’s presidency has been nearly finished off, and his remaining allies have been reduced to frantically firing off everything they have left, many of those allies are becoming more rattled by the day. There may be no one more rattled than Fox News propagandist and loyal Trump lackey Sean Hannity, who is so spun around he can’t even figure out which fake storylines he’s trying to push or whom he’s trying to falsely attack.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced today that he’s launching a phony investigation into the phony “Uranium One” scandal that Fox News and Donald Trump previously invented about Hillary Clinton. This led Sean Hannity to suddenly proclaim that anyone who previously pointed out the phony nature of the scandal is “fake news.” Hannity tweeted “Hey fake news CNN and conspiracy tv NBC News read and learn.” Then he inexplicably included a link to NBC News.

In other words, Hannity just accused NBC News of being fake, and then he tried to use NBC News as a source to prove his assertion that NBC News is fake, in the same sentence. Lest you think he might have simply made a typo here and he was trying to refer to some other news outlet instead, he promptly doubled down on it. He tweeted “So @seanhannity correct AGAIN and CNN and NBC News wrong again” while including a screen capture of MSNBC โ€“ a subsidiary of NBC News โ€“ as his supposed proof. Once again, he was telling us to believe NBC instead of NBC, this time while referring to himself in the third person.

This led various people at NBC News to begin poking fun at Sean Hannity. For instance Hallie Jackson of MSNBC quoted Hannity’s slop pile of a tweet and added “you are… literally… tweeting an NBC News story.” Meanwhile, thanks to Hannity’s mysterious phone calls to a wiretapped Paul Manafort, it’s possible that Hannity has been caught up in the Trump-Russia scandal himself.
