Donald Trump’s handlers fear he’ll implode in a ball of rage as Robert Mueller closes in

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

If you’re wondering why Donald Trump hasn’t aimed his rage cannon at Special Counsel Robert Mueller as the Trump-Russia scandal closes in on the Oval Office, or why Trump hasn’t said much of anything about Mueller at all during the investigation, it turns out there’s a rather stunning reason. In an attempt at keeping Donald Trump from going totally off the deep end, his handlers have convinced an isolated, delusional and deteriorating Donald Trump that Robert Mueller is somehow no threat to him.

That’s the startling new revelation from the latest Vanity Fair profile, which details just how panicked Trump’s handlers have become as the Special Counsel moves ever closer to nailing Trump (link). They’re “scrambling to keep him calm.” They’re trying to keep him from “flying into a rage” because they know he’s “predisposed to self-sabotage.”

These words are nothing short of mind boggling. It paints a picture, coming from Trump’s own closest advisers no less, of a profoundly mentally unstable individual who’s being shielded from reality for fear that he’s a danger to himself and others. This would be a scary situation if we were talking about some random neighbor living in your apartment building. Instead we’re talking about the guy currently occupying the office of President of the United States. It gets worse.

One of the key tactics being used by Donald Trump’s handlers and lawyers to try to keep him from going completely berserk: they keep telling him that Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia investigation will end soon. That is, of course, total fiction. Mueller has only arrested three of the dozens of Trump associates he plans to prosecute. This is just getting started, and while Trump doesn’t yet know it, he’s the true target on Mueller’s radar. What happens once Trump figures out this investigation isn’t going away? It’s time for the 25th Amendment.
