Unpresidented: Donald Trump’s inauguration parade greeted with empty bleachers

Having attracted a record low attendance for his inauguration concert last night, and equally poor attendance for his swearing in ceremony earlier today, Donald Trump has now managed to pull off the trifecta. His inauguration parade through the streets of Washington DC was so poorly attended that it was ultimately greeted with a series of empty bleachers.

NBC reporter Katy Tur posted a video of the parade route which she says was taken at 1:40pm, not long before the parade was set to begin. The scene looked a lot like this:

This comes after Donald Trump drew just 2.5% as many people for his inaugural concert as had been drawn by Barack Obama, and was faced with an empty National Mall during his swearing in.
