Donald Trump adviser unwittingly admits he’s not qualified to be President

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump flew off the handle and caused an international incident yet again this past week, tweeting such speculative gibberish about an overseas terrorist attack that the leader of a major U.S. ally had to publicly tell him to knock it off. This prompted one of Trump’s top advisers to step up and try to defend him – but it ended up going terribly wrong.

Our best guess is that Trump’s remaining sycophants draw straws to see which of them will have to go out and defend him after any given embarrassment. This time around it was Trump’s United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley who drew the short straw. She also came up short in her attempted defense.

Haley told CNN during an interview that Donald Trump was merely being “emotional and passionate” when he tweeted errantly about a terrorist attack in London (link). But that tweet caused so much trouble that British Prime Minister ended up publicly dissing Trump’s tweet, saying “I don’t think it’s helpful.”

Considering that Donald Trump’s “emotional” tweet caused major trouble for a key U.S. ally, Nikky Haley unwittingly admitted that Trump is too emotional to be President. Then again, considering how much she seems to regret having joined his disastrous administration, perhaps her admission wasn’t so unwitting after all.
