Donald Trump admits Jared Kushner Russia story is real, then claims it’s fake, in the same sentence

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Put down the phone, Donald Trump, and back away from the Twitter app. Go back to Europe. No wait, that’s too much of a liability. Maybe just go back to bed. But whatever you do, for your own sake, stop running your mouth. You just admitted this morning that the new revelations about Jared Kushner and Russia are true. And then later in the same sentence, you claimed they were fake.

Come on, Donald, what could you possibly mean by this tweet?

You just said “It is my opinion that many of the leaks coming out of the White House are fabricated lies made up by the #FakeNews media.” So you’re admitting the story about Jared Kushner and Russia is real, by blaming the sourcing on leaks from within your own White House. Thanks for the rare moment of honesty, but I don’t think you meant to give that tidbit away.

Also, you can’t admit that the source for a newspaper story is a very real leaker within your own White House, and then turn around and claim that the newspaper made up a fake source for that story. Yet that’s what you just did, all in one sentence, efficiently within the span of Twitter’s 140 character limit.

That’s really not how you want to play this, Donald. But thanks for unwittingly letting us know that the story about Jared Kushner and Russia is real, so we know to keep pursuing it.
