WTF? Donald Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen slammed for posting photo of his daughter in lingerie

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s longtime attorney Michael Cohen has been the subject of some controversy before, but it’s tended to be of the political scandal type. Did he secretly meet with the Russian government in Prague, as the dossier claims? Has he never even been to Prague, as he claims? But tonight he embarked on a different kind of controversy, and let’s just use say the pushback against him has been taken to a whole new level.

On Sunday evening Michael Cohen tweeted that he was “So proud of my Ivy League daughter…brains and beauty channeling her Edie Sedgwick.” Okay, so far, so good. But then he included a photo of his daughter, and, well… we’ll just let it speak for itself:

Not surprisingly, Cohen received a good deal of pushback from other Twitter users. After one user ripped into him, Cohen replied with a single word: “Jealous?” Some prominent public figures also took him to task for it. Screenwriter Amy Holden Jones responded with a message aimed at the daughter, reading “Eww. You poor kid” (link). Newsweek political journalist Kurt Eichenwald replied that he was “completely and totally creeped out” (link). And actor Matt Doyle said what a lot of others were probably thinking when he replied with “What the fuck is wrong with you!?” (link).

For his part, Michael Cohen’s only response up to this point beyond his “Jealous?” comment was a reply to a naysayer which read “Beauty and brains you a-hole!” The general consensus seems to be that there’s nothing wrong with a woman posing for such a photo if she chooses to, but that no one can figure out why the hell her father of all people is the one posting it. As one Twitter user tried to sum up the mess, “Two words: Donald Trump.” They both need Twitter for Dummies).
