Classy Meryl Streep sends Donald Trump into whining rage without even mentioning his name
When she was honored at the Golden Globes last night, Meryl Streep was humble enough to use herf speech to defend a disabled man who had been attacked, and classy enough not to even so much as utter the name “Donald Trump” while admonishing him for being the attacker. And predictably, Trump spent the morning viciously whining about Streep on his Twitter account, while once again lying about the original incident in question.
Even as Meryl Streep was graciously talking about empathy and how “disrespect invites disrespect,” her counterpart Donald Trump responded in the kind of manner we all knew he would: “Meryl Streep, one of the most over-rated actresses in Hollywood, doesn’t know me but attacked last night at the Golden Globes. She is a Hillary flunky who lost big. For the 100th time, I never “mocked” a disabled reporter (would never do that) but simply showed him ‘groveling’ when he totally changed a 16 year old story that he had written in order to make me look bad. Just more very dishonest media!”
