Something appears to be fundamentally wrong with Donald Trump’s health, and his current overseas trip is exposing it in real time. I’m not a doctor and neither are most of you reading this, but you don’t need a medical degree to see that Trump’s health and wellness are in free fall today. In fact it’s become so glaring that one of his own aides just tried to explain it away as exhaustion. But something more is going on with Trump’s condition in Saudi Arabia today.

The trouble became visible when Donald Trump couldn’t get through his speech in Saudi Arabia without stopping to try to catch his breath in the middle of it (link). This was an indoor speech in normal temperature conditions, and Trump is not known to have done nothing anything physically taxing prior to the speech. Yet he could barely get through it.

By the time Donald Trump ended up incorrectly saying “Islamic” when his own teleprompter read “Islamist” instead, his traveling staff felt compelled to begin making excuses for the glaring problem:

And so now we’re at a place where, just forty-eight hours into Donald Trump’s first official overseas visit, he’s gasping for breath during speeches and unable to correctly speak the words on his teleprompter, with his staff trying to blame it on “exhaustion” when all he’s really done so far is fly around on a luxury jet and do a bit of talking. Considering the extent to which Trump withheld his medical records during the campaign, it’s fair to ask what kind of major illness he may be hiding, and if we’re seeing it exposed now that he’s finally putting a tiny bit of effort into the job.
