Editor’s note regarding our earlier reporting on Reed Cordish

On January 18th, 2017, Palmer Report published a brief news item regarding Reed Cordish. Our sole source was an article from The Daily Beast. At the time we believed we were accurately reporting in good faith. However, as of yesterday, the Daily Beast has fully retracted its original story about Mr. Cordish. The Daily Beast has stated: “Post-publication, it became apparent that many of the most serious accusations of discrimination were later recanted in non-public depositions, portions of which were subsequently made available to The Daily Beast.”

That means we must also fully retract our own news item about Reed Cordish. Accordingly, we have taken the story down. Palmer Report sincerely apologizes to Reed Cordish and The Cordish Companies.
