Donald Trump’s panicked Twitter meltdown reveals the recount has him worried

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It may have taken him four days to finally snap, but “president elect” Donald Trump has now officially lost it over the impending recount in three key swing states which a growing numbers of Americans – and a growing mountain of evidence – suggest he didn’t legitimately win. The recounts are being spearheaded by third party candidate Jill Stein, who wants to expose the lack of accountability in election results. But now Hillary Clinton has joined the recount effort, and it has at least some chance of putting her in the White House. That’s sent Trump into a full scale Twitter meltdown which reveals he’s in panic mode.

“The Green Party scam to fill up their coffers by asking for impossible recounts is now being joined by the badly defeated & demoralized Dems,” Donald Trump fired off last night, abandoning any pretense of his supposed desire to unite the nation which he expressed during his pre-taped Thanksgiving address. But he was just getting started with his meltdown.

He continued: “The Democrats, when they incorrectly thought they were going to win, asked that the election night tabulation be accepted. Not so anymore!” Then his rambling escalated, seemingly appalled at the idea of trying to make sure the election results were accurate: “Hillary Clinton conceded the election when she called me just prior to the victory speech and after the results were in. Nothing will change.”

After several more ranting tweets, Donald Trump defensively summed up his rant with “So much time and money will be spent – same result! Sad.” If he’s so sure nothing will change, then why is he so obsessively worried about the recount?
