Donald Trump, who was in three porn films, thinks Meryl Streep is an overrated actress
One day after revered actress Meryl Streep eloquently urged her fellow Americans to push back against the kind of thoughtless cruelty that Donald Trump has been putting on display, he’s now inevitably pushing back against her. Trump has tweeted that Streep is everything from a “Hillary flunky” to an “over-rated” actress. In reality Streep is a Yale graduate and Oscar winner, while Trump is the kind of uneducated dummy who doesn’t know that “overrated” is just one word without a hyphen. Trump also has one of the most embarrassing “acting” resumes of all time, primarily consisting of non-nude roles in porn movies.
Not long after Donald Trump received some positive publicity for his cameo in 1992 in the movie Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, he for some reason decided to begin doing cameos in porn movies as well. He played himself in a non-nude scene in a Playboy porn film in 1994, and then went on to do two more such cameos in later porn films, which were subsequently dug up by CNN and others.
Is there anything inherently wrong with that? Nah. Probably smart marketing on his part at the time. But when a guy whose IMDB resume is topped by a reality television show and some porn movies, he’s not in a position to accuse an Oscar winning actress like Meryl Streep of being “overrated.” Or for that matter “over-rated.”
