Donald Trump just admitted there are “tapes” of his campaign colluding with Russia
If you were an interrogator and your job was to get Donald Trump to admit to a crime, you wouldn’t have to say anything; you could just hand him his Twitter account and go on your lunch break. Trump is so eager to sound defiant when it comes to his Russia scandal that he continues to stupidly incriminate himself – and this time he just confirmed the biggest bombshell of the entire scandal.
Last night I wrote that evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia was likely to break soon, based on the fact that everyone from Donald Trump to Sean Hannity was suddenly admitting to that collusion, and trying to spin it as having been some kind of patriotic thing (link). This was even as Russia had just yanked its Ambassador who had been masterminding that collusion all along, in order to get him off the table before the news broke. But today Trump jumped the gun further and began talking about tapes of the Trump campaign colluding with Russia.
Here’s what Donald Trump tweeted today: “The real story is that President Obama did NOTHING after being informed in August about Russian meddling. With 4 months looking at Russia under a magnifying glass, they have zero “tapes” of T people colluding. There is no collusion & no obstruction. I should be given apology!” (link). In other words, he knows there are tapes, he knows they’re going to leak eventually – in his haste to counter those tapes, he just admitted there are tapes.
This is a remarkable development because, while Palmer Report has been bringing you various reports for months of insider sources claiming there are recordings of Trump-Russia collusion, it’s remained far enough under the radar that the mainstream media still hasn’t touched it. And yet now Trump has issued this oddly specific denial insisting that there are no such tapes. Not only did he just admit there are tapes, he just ensured that the mainstream media is finally going to talk about the tapes and try to figure out who’s been sitting on them.
