Six Donald Trump staffers fired today, escorted out of White House, after flagged by FBI
It turns out Michael Flynn is far from the only one who has lost his White House job this week in a cloud of controversy and disgrace. Donald Trump has been forced to fire six more people from his White House staff today after they failed FBI background checks – and some of them then had to be escorted out of the building by security, because their FBI red flags were apparently just that egregious. What’s eye popping is that this is just now happening today, more than three weeks after Trump took office, suggesting the intel community is now going for the kill over the Trump-Russia scandal.
None of the six people in question appear to be among Trump’s White House senior staff, with the most prominent name being the White House director of scheduling, Caroline Wiles. But what stands out here is that these people have been working in Donald Trump’s White House from day one, and yet the FBI has just now decided today to disqualify them from working there, thus prompting their immediate firing — as the Trump-Russia scandal explodes.
This sudden forced firing today of six of Donald Trump’s White House people – as first reported by Politico this evening – comes in the midst of the exploding Trump-Russia scandal, which has already seen the resignation of Michael Flynn. He appears to have lied to the FBI, a felony, during the investigation – and it suggests that the U.S. intelligence community is more hellbent than ever on taking down the Donald Trump White House by any means necessary.
