Donald Trump held a campaign rally on Friday night whose purpose was so nefarious and embarrassing, he and his people couldn’t even bring themselves to officially admit why they were doing it. Trump was campaigning for Alabama Senate candidate and accused child molester Roy Moore, and he held the rally just across the border in Pensacola, Florida, where he knew it would get picked up by the local Mobile, Alabama television market, for the sake of deniability. As it turns out, the rally itself was arguably even more horrifying than its evil premise.

Trump has spent the week inexplicably slurring his words during a speech, while making his staff do his tweeting for him in poorly disguised fashion, leading many to question if perhaps he’d had a stroke or was faking one. When Trump appeared on stage on Friday night, he was no longer saying things like “God blesh the United Shesh” – but that was the only positive thing about it.

At one point Trump began rambling about Hillary Clinton, his former opponent from thirteen months ago. This promoted his fans at the rally to begin chanting “Lock Her Up!” Do these buffoons have any idea how stupid that makes them look at this point? The “Lock Her Up” chant was first popularized by former Trump adviser Michael Flynn, who literally got locked up last week when he surrendered himself and cut a plea deal because he conspired against the United States on Trump’s behalf.

At another point Donald Trump was ranting and raving about “the Resistance.” Well guess what, buddy, you’re the least popular first-year U.S. President in the history of polling, your grasp on the White House is nearly gone, and your entire life is on fire. No one is winning these days, but the Resistance is beating the living crap out of you. Enjoy your crapfest rallies, Donald, while you still can. Eventually you’ll be holding them in prison.
