Congressman aims to force House GOP into corner with Donald Trump impeachment articles

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. No matter what laws Donald Trump ends up violating during his first two years in office, the Republican majority in the House of Representatives is overwhelmingly unlikely to move to impeach him. But that doesn’t mean that impeachment can’t be used to back the House GOP into a corner, force them to give their blessing to Trump’s crimes, make them look bad, and hang an albatross around their necks for the midterms. And that’s one one freshman Democratic Congressman is talking about doing.

Although the Democrats are currently the minority in the House, any Congressman can introduce articles of impeachment against the president in the same way that any other bill would be introduced, as per the U.S. House website. That’s precisely what incoming Representative Jamie Raskin from Maryland is threatening to do. In fact he’s saying that Trump is already breaking the law by refusing to divest his personal assets.

Watch Congressman Jamie Raskin threaten to bring articles of impeachment against Donald Trump in this video:

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
