Senile Donald Trump gets confused and viciously attacks one of his own supporters
Donald Trump’s connection to psychological competence has often seemed to be as tenuous as his connection to cognitive competence. His tweets are often so far off the deep end that he sounds like someone ranting dementedly on a sidewalk to no one in particular. He also sometimes acts so confused, it raises the question of whether he’s going senile. This morning he put on a display so over the top that he essentially did both at the same time, which came to a head when he got confused and attacked one of his own supporters.
Trump started off with an utterly berserk rant in which he attacked everyone from his new favorite enemy LaVar Ball to his own friend Don King: “It wasn’t the White House, it wasn’t the State Department, it wasn’t father LaVar’s so-called people on the ground in China that got his son out of a long term prison sentence – IT WAS ME. Too bad! LaVar is just a poor man’s version of Don King, but without the hair. Just think… LaVar, you could have spent the next 5 to 10 years during Thanksgiving with your son in China, but no NBA contract to support you. But remember LaVar, shoplifting is NOT a little thing. It’s a really big deal, especially in China. Ungrateful fool!” But as his Twitter meltdown went on, this tweet ended up being the least of it.
One of Trump’s own supporters replied to him in agreement, tweeting “The ungratefulness is something I’ve never seen before. If you get someone’s son out of prison, he should be grateful to you! Period. I don’t care. If Hillary got my kid out of prison, as much as I hate the woman, I’d thank her corrupt ass!” Trump somehow got confused and responded by attacking his own supporter for being a “Crooked Hillary supporter.” After his mistake was pointed out to him, Trump deleted the attack and then simply retweeted his supporter. Again, this somehow wasn’t the worst of it.
After getting himself completely spun around in a ball of confused rage, Donald Trump then encountered a tweet which compared him to Charles Manson. So what did Trump do? He retweeted it in agreement (link). In summary: Trump clearly hates LaVar Ball, he appears to now dislike his own longtime friend Don King, he hates his own supporter who agreed with him, and he appears to like Charles Manson. We give up.
