Washington DC Attorney General calls for 25th Amendment against Donald Trump

As the evening goes on, the pressure continues to mount on Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment against Donald Trump and immediately remove him from power. We’ve seen calls not just from Democrats, but also from the Republican Governor of Vermont, and retired General Barry McCaffrey.

Now, Washington DC Attorney General Karl Racine has appeared on CNN and called for the 25th Amendment to be invoked. To be clear, Racine is an elected official, as opposed to most U.S. Attorneys, who serve at the pleasure of the President. But it’s nonetheless a big deal. It continues to ratchet up the pressure on Pence to make a move, or else Pence will be left with no political future at all.
