This is just ghastly, even for Donald Trump

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

I’ve often wondered how low the former guy can go. Are there any limits? Is there any evil that the floppy orange-haired sociopath will not partake in? The answer to that question, I believe, is no. Trump is without conscience. There is nothing he would not do.

Still, his cruelties sometimes do amaze. It is difficult for people with souls to believe any one human being could be so vile. And now the former guy has managed to do it again-at least according to a new book.

Washington Post journalists Yasmeen Abutaleb and Damian Paletta have authored a new book. It is called “Nightmare Scenario: Inside the Trump Administration’s response to the Pandemic That Changed History.”

Many people were interviewed for this book, including White House staff members.

According to the book, the former guy proposed a solution to the rapidly growing numbers of COVID-positive Americans. And that solution was-send the infected to Guantanamo Bay. No, really. This is said to have happened during a 2020 meeting.

Trump’s words were, “Don’t we have an island that we own?”

And: “What about Guantanamo?”

As I write this article, I am saddened as I imagine the world hundreds of years from now. I imagine people studying American history as we examined it. I imagine curious and intelligent students asking the question that demands asking: “But why?”

“How?” “How did this man get into power?”

On the plus side, at least according to this book, Presidential Aides were stunned by these ignorant comments and quickly shot the idea down.

I say “on the plus side” because imagine for a minute if one or more of his aides had not shut the idea down. With so many sycophants and idiots having worked in the former guy’s employ, this is not a scenario that couldn’t have happened. This book will be available on June 20th of this year. One wonders what other ghastly things it will reveal.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
