So this was unexpected

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Good news, these days is welcome. God news in politics is as delightful as children, bouncing and leaping wherever they go. The January 6 committee has scheduled another hearing — for tomorrow! This was not planned. It was expected the committee’s next hearing would be in July.

But there has been a new hearing added. It will happen on Tuesday, June 28, at 1:00 PM. The hearing will focus on “recently obtained evidence.” Intriguingly — the names of the witnesses have not been announced, so we have no idea who will be testifying or how many witnesses will be heard.

What makes this particularly interesting are these two words: “new evidence.” What on earth could it be? We have no way of knowing. But Tuesday is close by. I encourage you to add the date to your calendar and watch if you have the time. There seems to be no end to the committee’s ability to surprise. This is a nice surprise and guarantees to be very interesting
