Eureka!

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The term “Eureka” is an ancient Greek term meaning “I have found.” Many excited people have been known to shout, “Eureka, Eureka!” Archimedes, a famous Greek Mathematician, was said to have uttered this term repeatedly upon finding a method for determining the purity of gold. We are going to be yelling Eureka. We will be yelling it when Donald Trump is found guilty. The indictments have not stopped yet. There are more expected.

But, at some point, there will be the first trial. And hopefully, he will be found guilty. And it won’t be too far away. In the meantime, Trump is trying desperately not to see what’s right in front of him. He is pretending right now that he LOVES the thought of being indicted.

For example, the other day, on July 13, Trump wrote on Truth Social that he considered his indictments an “honor.”

“Getting indicted and arrested by the sick government this would be my great honor,” Trump posted. “I am doing it for our country.”

Eureka! We have found Trump’s vulnerability and it’s in that statement. He wants to save face. He doesn’t want the world to see him as the terrified person that he is. It’s all about image with Trump.

When Donald trump posted those words was he thinking about yet another forthcoming indictment? Perhaps he thought Jack Smith was not yet done with him. Perhaps he was thinking of Georgia, where a Grand Jury is hard at work, hearing about all his sins.

And personally, I think Trump stole that line from Adam Schiff. When Republicans in the House censored Schiff, he went on TV and said he was “proud.” Good for him! But it was not long after that, that Trump started hyping this this absurd story that he was “proud” to be indicted for the American people.

Of course, Trump would rip off Schiff’s words. Is there anything about Trump’s person that hasn’t been ripped off or stolen? Is there anything that’s genuine? So we are getting to a place where trials will soon happen.

The next stage of the Trump takedown is starting. And heed my words: when Trump is found guilty, we will shout in delight at the Jury’s findings. We will shout Eureka with pride for our Justice System.
