Donald Trump now stuck with inept attorney Alina Habba, as Joe Tacopina reveals why he just quit

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When Donald Trump was represented by attorney Joe Tacopina in the first E. Jean Carroll trial, it didn’t exactly go well for Trump or Tacopina. Tacopina didn’t wow anyone. But at least he understood how trials work. That can’t be said for Trump’s other attorney Alina Habba, who’s taking the lead in the second Carroll trial and doesn’t appear to have any idea how trials work.

So why did Tacopina quit? He appeared on air with Al Sharpton today and said that he quit because he had to “consult his compass” and that there were personal reasons behind the move. Tacopina was vague about it all, but it did seem clear that he’d had enough of being a part of the Trump dumpster fire.

This leaves Trump with Alina Habba, who in comparison makes Tacopina look like the greatest trial attorney in the history of the world. Of course no attorney is going to be able to save Trump from the legal fate that’s coming, so maybe it doesn’t matter who represents him at this point. But it sure is fun watching Habba stumble and bumble even as a confused Trump doesn’t seem to know what’s going on. They deserve such a fate.
