Donald Trump gives way that he knows it’s all over for him

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s life is over and he knows it. He’s facing three criminal trials between now and the 2024 election, each of which will come with a prison sentence. He has no future, no viability, no remaining political relevance, and no hope. Like most people in his position, Trump is clinging to the only thing he has left: delusion.

Trump currently has his pal Jim Jordan holding some of the most embarrassinglyfar ineffective congressional hearings of all time. The hearings are centered around “whistleblowers” who are claiming the FBI rigged the 2020 election against Trump, but on Thursday the FBI confirmed that these aren’t whistleblowers; they’re threats to national security who had their clearances revoked due to their support of January 6th.

Even Trump must have understood that this farce of a congressional hearing did him no good whatsoever, because after it was over, he took to his social network and began frantically begging for further help. Trump labeled himself a “victim” of this incoherent and imaginary FBI conspiracy, and demanded that “Congress must use its purse strings to straighten it out, before it is too late!” To be clear, that’s not a real thing. The House can’t magically defund the FBI or the DOJ or Special Counsel Jack Smith, no matter how many times Jim Jordan makes that empty threat.

Donald Trump is now reduced to pinning his hopes of remaining out of prison on an imaginary thing that his remaining allies couldn’t do even if they were inclined to. In other words, he knows it’s all over for him. If he thought there were anything in the real world that could save him, he wouldn’t be reduced to fantasizing like this.

The kicker is that even though the entire mainstream media (on both sides) keeps chasing ratings by actively pretending that Trump’s three criminal trials and three prison sentences somehow magically won’t interfere with his ability to participate in the 2024 election, Trump himself keeps giving away that even he knows it’s all over for him.
