Women won’t be denied on this one

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

One thing I love about our country is our freedom. We can go where we want. We can say what we want. We can love who we wish to, and we can make our own decisions. We are a great country.

And another thing we can do — that so many other places lack the freedoms to do — is protest. And this weekend, there are lots of them going on. These protests are, of course, about the Texas abortion law.

The Supreme Court — or at least certain members of the court — seem to have no idea how hard they poked the hornet’s nest when they refused to hear oral arguments on this vile law. And now the issue has motivated people from all cultures, from all socioeconomic groups and all wakes of life.

People are mad. They’re furious. And they’re doing something about it. The protests in DC have already begun. “Hands off our bodies,” the protesters shouted. Up to one hundred thousand were expected to attend just the DC protest. And they plan to march right to the steps of the Supreme Court.

But it isn’t the only one. The marches are taking place all over this country in approximately 650 different locations. They are marching in Florida. They are marching in Texas. They are everywhere. Want to attend one? There’s still time. Here is a link that will tell you the march nearest to you. This is activism at its finest, and it is a beautiful sight to see.
