Tucker Carlson bottoms out

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

On Thursday night, Tucker Carlson hit a whole new low, with his flagrantly irresponsible lies about Covid. In a steady stream of innuendo-laden skepticism, he indicated Covid vaccines may be linked to a large number of deaths.

He began by saying he was just asking a question, but then claimed, “between late December of 2020 and last month, a total number of 3,362 people apparently died after getting the covid vaccine in the [US],” citing data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS). “That’s an average of roughly 30 people every day.”

He went on, “It’s clear that what is happening now … is not even close to normal …more people, according to VAERS, have died after getting the shot in four months during a single vaccination campaign than from all other vaccines combined” over more than 1.5 decades.

First of all, just because someone died after getting a vaccine, that doesn’t mean they died ‘because’ of it. Second, the data in VAERS is unverified. Anyone can submit a claim about someone, even if they only have the least bit of suspicion a death could have been vaccine-related. The CDC then evaluates and verifies the data. And antiva activitists love making these reports, and routinely exaggerate the dangers of vaccines by using unverified VAERS data.

The CDC has since verified the data Tucker used, and found no connection between the deaths Tucker cited and any vaccine. They reviewed death certificates, autopsies, etc. to determine this. Of course, Tucker did not bother reporting this or any verified data.

Also, more than 135 million people were vaccinated during the VAERS period Tucker quoted, so to have 3,362 of them die from natural causes within a few months afterwards is a very small number. 8000 Americans die every day, or 1 in every 41,000.

Something really needs to be done about Fox news and this hack in particular. No telling how many people will not get vaccinated now, and possibly die, because of this sorry excuse for a human being. There are some poor souls you could never even explain this to understandably or convincingly even if Fox made Tucker come clean. Tucker is self-destructing — I just hope he takes Fox with him.
