This is just ugly for Matt Gaetz

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Matt Gaetz is having a no good, very bad week. The pompadoured Floridian has not had it easy the last few weeks. But this week has been worse than most for Gaetz.

It would seem that Rebekah Jones is firmly poised to challenge Gaetz for his Congressional seat. And she will be a formidable candidate. She has name recognition from her status as a DeSantis whistleblower, and she is intelligent, engaging, and a fierce advocate for justice.

Gaetz has also taken to Twitter, where he seems to have no issues with being Twitter-ratioed, laughed at, or scorned. He also had to delete a comment he made calling for defunding the FBI. But like all things internet, nothing is ever truly gone, as many people were quick to tell and show him.

This was also the week Gaetz received an epic smackdown from one of our best and brightest. General Mark Milley decimated the beady-eyed Congressman, and it was a joy to watch. Also, there is Gaetz’s increasingly shocking appearance. The man looks like he’s had about twenty cups of coffee. His hair stood at light socket attention, and he looked tired.

I feel no sympathy for Gaetz. With all the garbage he’s pulled and the things he’s done, he has gotten off relatively lightly so far. But with rumors swirling about a possible indictment that may be about to change. Stay tuned.
