These Trump goons are even further gone than we thought

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

There have been a couple stories over the past week about how deranged some of Orange Florida Man (OFM)’s followers can be, which can have tragic results.

First, in Michigan we have this tragic story. Michigan man Igor Lanis, a man radicalized by Qanon and a rabid follower of OFM first shot his wife and dog – killing them. He then proceeded to shoot his 25-year-old daughter, seriously injuring her. She was operated on and is in stable condition now. Meanwhile the elder Lanis shot at police and was killed in the return fire. His 21-year-old daughter posted on Reddit of how her father had been falling into a “rabbit hole” of extremism that only got worse after OFM lost reelection until he snapped. I feel so bad for both daughters. They first lost their father to extremism, which ended in the deaths of both their parents and family dog.

Then in Pennsylvania a man wearing a rainbow wig who walked into a Dairy Queen holding a loaded handgun. Police had already been looking for him due to erratic driving. Jan Stawovy, 61 told police that he wanted to murder “Democrats and liberals” and restore OFM as “President-king” of the US. Fortunately, this story ended without bloodshed. Stawovy was taken into custody and charged with multiple felonies.

These incidents, along with others show just how much of a danger OFM’s radicalized followers can be. We not only have to show up in November to vote against OFM supporters, but if we see something, say something. If we see someone we know becoming a radicalized OFM supporter try to help wean them and if needed contact authorities to let them know the person is a danger to themselves and others.
