The QAnon loons are even more out of control than ever
QAnon is getting worse. This past week, a Q supporter murdered his two children in Mexico. When arrested, this man told police he had to do it because he thought his children would grow up into “monsters.”
The only monster here is this father. Yet, all over this great nation, we hear more stories about Q followers acting out. And as we move ever closer to the anniversary of 9/11, DHS is warning of increased threats of violence. “Grievance-based” violence is what they are calling it. DHS warns that 9/11 could “serve as a catalyst for acts of targeted violence.”
This news does not surprise me one bit. The violent MAGA supporters have not gone away, although one can view them less and less on Twitter. But they are still here and still pose a significant threat.
You may think you can’t help, but you can. Social media is finally beginning to crack down on the violent rhetoric of Q. So if you see these types of tweets — report them. If you see postings on Facebook — report them.
The disinformation continues to pour in, and there is simply too much of it, to logically be able to rid ourselves of ALL of it. But each and every piece of disinformation that gets debunked is helpful. After all, we are all in this together, so let’s fight it together.
