The GOP officially admits its illegitimacy

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

At least one outrageous attack on our voting rights has made it to the Supreme Court, forcing the Arizona RNC to admit on the record this week that the Republican Party cannot legitimately win an election without rigging the vote.

When directly asked by Justice Amy Coney Barrett what their interest is in disqualifying votes that are placed out of precinct, the GOP’s attorney Michael Carvin stated “Because it puts us at a competitive disadvantage relative to Democrats.” That’s it…no argument about voter fraud, fake ballots or unqualified voters…just neener neener…we wanna do it so we can win.

Why am I rehashing this? Because the omnipresent whining from pundits and Republicans that President Biden is not abiding by his promise to work across the aisle is sickening. They spent four years allowing their leader Trump to rape the Constitution, terrorize his own citizens, pledge allegiance to Putin, then at the end of his term attack the US Capitol. As if all that weren’t obscene enough, a majority of them then voted to de-legitimize the election. Biden owes them nothing.

Now we’re being attacked again as Republican legislatures in dozens of states are conspiring to overturn voting laws most of which were created by these same legislators when they thought it was to their advantage. I don’t know if a legitimate party can rise out of this absurd mess of lawsuits and sycophancy but 2022 is right around the corner..s.o we’ll soon find out.
