The GOP is having one of its worst weeks in quite awhile

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

This has been quite a winning week for the Democrats. It’s been filled with success and accomplishments. That is not the case for Republicans. This week has been one of the worst Republicans have had in quite a while, and they’ve had many. Think about it.

This week has seen a plethora of hate from our friends on the Right. We’ve had Tucker Carlson deriding pregnant Military women. We’ve had Tim Scott invent a new term (“woke supremacy”).

We have had Megyn Kelly deleting memes of The Queen chasing Meghan Markle with a gun. And we’ve had Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson basically admit he’s a racist with his asinine comments about Antifa and Black Lives Matter.

So what’s the reason for this hate fest? It does seem to be brutal even for the GOP! It’s all about relevancy and fearmongering. They do go hand in hand. Some people want their names in the News, even if it is with a lot of negativity. They’re addicted to being relevant. And for Republican Senators, here is a fact.

They have no accomplishments. So they have to instill fear And fury. Anger is the way the GOP thinks they can win elections. When one feels anger, one reacts. And so, some of these Republicans want to keep their constituents in a perpetual state of anger with themselves cast as the rescuers.

If their people weren’t angry, they might start to think. And that is not something the GOP wants to have happen. Keep em angry. Keep em in a state of outrage. That’s their mantra. That is why we have so much hate on the most successful week of Biden’s presidency yet.
