Rudy Giuliani throws a fit in response to possible new legal trouble in New York

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The news keeps getting worse for Rudy Giuliani. Not only did Andrew lose his bid to be the GQP nominee for governor of New York. Not only are many of Rudy’s GQP buddies saying the ShopRite slap heard round the world isn’t the assault that Rudy claimed it was. But now the current Mayor of New York has called for Rudy to be investigated for filing a false police report over the incident.

Mayor Eric Adams basically said that Rudy was full of it in how he described the incident and said someone should tell Rudy “…that falsely reporting a crime is a crime.” And how did Rudy react to the news. With decorum and maturity? Oh, hell no. He called Mayor Adams a “f—–g scumbag” and said Adams didn’t know what he was talking about.

Oh, I imagine Adams had done his homework before commenting on the incident and wouldn’t have called for the investigation unless there was good cause to do so. Rudy hit rock bottom here and keeps attempting to dig. I think if Rudy had stopped complaining and apologized for exaggerating once the video had come out instead of doubling down, the whole thing would’ve been quickly forgotten about, and he could focus on his much bigger problems. But nope. Rudy decided to double down and continue to be a whiny bullshitter about the incident. So if this results in further legal problems for Rudy, he has only himself to blame.
